An Agreement of Excellence
Welcome to the digital atelier of Remy & Perez. By exploring our collections and acquiring our limited edition pieces, you enter into an agreement of trust, authenticity, and mutual respect. These terms are designed to protect the integrity of our craft and ensure your experience as a collector is as exceptional as the jewellery we create.
1. The Nature of the Acquisition
Each piece in our series, including the Terrae Ignis collection, is a singular creation. Handforged from natural fire opals and 925 silver, our jewellery is produced in strictly limited editions of 25 units. Due to the artisanal nature of our work and the unique characteristics of natural gemstones, no two pieces are identical.
2. The Commitment to Choice (Pre-Purchase Consultation)
We understand that acquiring a piece of slow luxury is a significant decision. To ensure your complete satisfaction, we offer a personalized Concierge Service to assist you in selecting the correct size and piece before your acquisition is finalized. We strongly encourage you to speak with our Concierge to resolve any questions regarding dimensions, fit, or gemstone characteristics.
3. Shipping, Duties, and Taxes
Remy & Perez facilitates the journey of your piece from our atelier to your sanctuary. However, please be advised of the following:
•Shipping Costs: All shipping fees are the responsibility of the collector and will be calculated at checkout.
•International Duties: For our international collectors, including those in Europe, any import duties, customs fees, or local taxes are the sole responsibility of the recipient. We recommend consulting your local customs office for details before completing your acquisition.
International Shipments and Import Charges
For all orders shipped from Mexico to destinations within the European Union, please be advised that our product prices do not include Value Added Tax (VAT) or any applicable customs duties. These charges are determined and levied by the local authorities in the destination country.
As the recipient, you are responsible for the payment of these import VAT and customs duties upon the arrival of your package. These fees will be collected directly by our designated shipping partner (DHL) prior to or upon delivery. Failure to pay these charges may result in the package being held by customs or returned to us, in which case any return shipping costs or additional fees incurred will be deducted from your refund.
We strongly recommend familiarizing yourself with your country’s import regulations and potential costs before placing an order to ensure a seamless delivery experience. Our dedicated team is available to assist with any questions regarding this process.
4. Policy on Returns and Exchanges
In alignment with the exclusive and limited nature of our editions, all sales are final. We do not offer returns or exchanges for «change of mind» or incorrect size selection after the acquisition is complete.
Exceptions for Transit Damage
Your peace of mind is paramount. If your piece arrives damaged due to transportation:
1.Please notify our Concierge within 48 hours of receipt, providing photographic evidence of the damage and the packaging.
2.Upon verification, we will arrange for the return of the damaged piece.
3.Once received at our atelier, we will provide a substitution with another unique piece of equivalent value from our available collection.
5. Intellectual Property and Design Integrity
The designs, narratives, and visual identity of the Remy & Perez series are the exclusive intellectual property of the brand.
•Any reproduction, imitation, or unauthorized use of our designs or brand materials is strictly prohibited.
•By acquiring a piece, you receive the right to own and enjoy a work of art, but the intellectual property rights remain with the atelier.
6. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This agreement and any acquisitions made through this website are governed by the laws of Mexico. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved within the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Mexico, in accordance with the principles of consumer protection and fair trade.
